The head coach of the United States soccer team, Jurgen Klinsmann, has rubbished claims that his team will play out a deliberate draw against Germany when the two teams meet in the final fixture of Group G.<\/p>\n
A draw will see both German bosses guide their respective teams to the knock-out phase of the World Cup, but Klinsmann insists they are going into the game with nothing but victory on their minds.<\/p>\n
“The message is very simple we want to beat Germany and we want to be first in our group,” he told reporters.<\/p>\n
“We are not thinking about a tie we know a tie will get us through as well.<\/p>\n
“At the end of the day, if it ends up in tie because its a close game or an exciting game, then so be it but we have our eyes on first place in the group.”<\/p>\n
A draw between the two teams will\u00a0 see both of them qualify rendering the result between Ghana’s Black Stars and Portugal\u00a0 insignificant.<\/p>\n
The match will take place at the Arena Pernambuco Recife and will kick-off at 16:00 GMT.<\/p>\n
