{"id":27274,"date":"2014-06-25T10:47:03","date_gmt":"2014-06-25T10:47:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=27274"},"modified":"2014-06-25T13:12:53","modified_gmt":"2014-06-25T13:12:53","slug":"hearts-of-oak-part-ways-with-coach-polo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=27274","title":{"rendered":"Hearts of Oak parts ways with coach Polo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Accra Heats of Oak has officially parted company with their manager, Mohammed Polo, after just 7 months in charge of the club.<\/p>\n<p>Polo took over the position from David Duncan after his contract was terminated by the club in November.<\/p>\n<p>A statement on the club&#8217;s official website read: &#8220;Accra Hearts of Oak have formally bidden fare well to Coach Mohammed Polo after he was handed a letter to that effect this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The letter signed by Administrative Manager Hackman Aidoo for Administrative Chairman Togbe Afede XIV referred to the term of Coach Mohammed Polo&#8217;s engagement which specified that he was to be in charge of the team up to the end of the season.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Polo,58, who had previously managed the club as player coach, guided the team to third place in the Ghana Premier League last season.<\/p>\n<p>In the statement the club &#8220;thanked Mohammed Polo for stepping in at a difficult time and doing his best for the team&#8221; while wishing the former footballer of the year &#8220;the best of luck in his future endeavors.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>By: Edwin Kwakofi\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Accra Heats of Oak has officially parted company with their manager, Mohammed Polo, after just 7 months in charge of the club.
