{"id":269894,"date":"2016-11-20T06:00:08","date_gmt":"2016-11-20T06:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=269894"},"modified":"2016-11-20T06:00:08","modified_gmt":"2016-11-20T06:00:08","slug":"takoradi-technical-university-launches-5-year-strategic-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=269894","title":{"rendered":"Takoradi Technical university launches 5-year strategic plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Takoradi Technical University, has launched a five-year strategic plan that will guide its academic activities as it now assumes a technical university status.<\/p>\n<p>The plan, which was launched by industrialist and council member of the University Ato Panford, who is also the NPP&#8217;s Parliamentary Candidate for the Shama Constituency in the Western Region, focuses on entrepreneurial development and technology driven expertise for students.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/20f49b2a-38b8-4613-b112-939ac48eea48.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-269898\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/20f49b2a-38b8-4613-b112-939ac48eea48-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"20f49b2a-38b8-4613-b112-939ac48eea48\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Panford explained that &#8220;its a new era with a new approach. With our status as a technical university, we owe it a responsibility to ensure we upgrade our skills to produce competent and relevant entrepreneurs who could form joint ventures to take up the development challenge facing our country.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/b237fa41-913e-477f-80df-4792fe454fed.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-269897\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/b237fa41-913e-477f-80df-4792fe454fed-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"b237fa41-913e-477f-80df-4792fe454fed\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He added that, &#8221; when this happens, we can stop the culture of giving out our developmental projects to Indians and the likes.
