The Silverstar Towers at Airport city in Accra will be the venue of the first edition of the \u2018Back to the 90s\u2019 School Jam tomorrow, when Old student of the Presby Boys Secondary School are joined by their counterparts from other second cycle institutions to raise funds for the school\u2019s e-library.<\/p>\n
Opening at 7:00pm, the Back to the 90s\u2019 School Jam will bring Old students from various second cycle schools in the country together to have fun, reminisce on old school days and network, all in an ambience marked by music, dance and fanfare.<\/p>\n
Put together specifically to generate funds for the schools\u2019 e-library, the organizers – the 1993\/95 Year Group of the Presec Old Boys\u2019 Association – describe the experience as \u2018Jamming with a purpose\u2019 and said the evening will feature rare showmanship from some of Ghana\u2019s finest DJ\u2019s including the indefatigable DJ Blow, the \u2018Atongo Man\u2019 Sami B, DJ Koshe and DJ Mac Tontoh.<\/p>\n
Indeed among the highlights of the evening will be will be an inter-schools DJ contest and a special auction and raffle which will offer amazing prizes, said the President of the 1993\/95 Year Group of the Presec Old Students Association.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe \u2018Back to the 90s\u2019 jam is set to become an annual affair where Presecans and their friends from Abugiss, Agiss, St. Mary\u2019s, Achimota, Wesley Girls\u2019, Mfantsipim, Accra Aca, Adisadel, St. Augustines and schools nationwide, can meet and fraternize in the spirit of togetherness and for old times sake!\u201d Mr. Frank Ankamah, President of the \u2018Odade3\u2019 (Presec Old Boys Association) 93\/95 Year Group said.<\/p>\n
