National security operatives in the Ashanti Region have\u00a0retrieved some explosives close to the residence of the Deputy Regional Minister, Andy Osei Okrah.<\/p>\n
The materials, included 2 7.5kg gas cylinders, cables, a tube of flammable liquid and timers.<\/p>\n
A police officer who was on duty in the area close to the residence around Golden Tulip Hotel at Nhyiaeso, said two unknown men on a motorbike dropped the materials there and fled on Monday night, when he attempted to question them\u00a0over their suspicious activities in the area.<\/p>\n
