Ghana has slipped two places to occupy the 45th<\/sup> position in the latest world ranking released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), for the month of October.<\/p>\n

The Black Stars\u2019 drop was accounted to the 0-0 draw with the Cranes of Uganda at the Tamale stadium in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers as well as an international friendly with South Africa, which ended 1-1 in Durban.<\/p>\n

Ghana, initially rated 43rd<\/sup> dropped two places with 628 points accumulated to lie behind defending champions Cote D\u2019Ivoire, Senegal, Algeria and Tunisia who are placed 31st<\/sup>, 37th<\/sup>, Algeria 35th<\/sup> Tunisia 38th<\/sup> respectively in the globe.<\/p>\n

Argentina still maintained their spot on top with 1621 points while Germany and Brazil have moved to the second and third positions respectively.<\/p>\n

Ghana is ranked the fifth in the continent.<\/p>\n

However, Ghana\u2019s group opponents at the AFCON, Egypt, have been ranked 46th<\/sup> in the world, just behind Ghana while Mali is placed 58th<\/sup> in the world.<\/p>\n
