<\/a><\/p>\nHe decried the falling standard of education in the area and promised to overturn the situation when elected.\u00a0He has so far demonstrated his commitment to the education sector by supplying 100 beds, 100 mattresses and 100 dual desks to the Daboya Community Senior High School.<\/p>\n
He said teachers ready to accept postings to rural communities will receive juicy motivation packages.<\/p>\n
The NDC Daboya-Mankarigu Parliamentary candidate promised to commercialize subsistence agriculture which is the economic mainstay of majority of residents in the area.<\/p>\n
He said the fisher folks would also be supported to improve their production.\u00a0As a Prince of the Wasipe traditional area, \u00a0Mahama Shaibu appealed to the residents to intensify their peaceful coexistence.<\/p>\n
He cautioned politicians in the area against inflaming passions on ethnocentric lines.<\/p>\n
\u201cStop campaigning on ethnic grounds and dialogue is the way forward.\u00a0Unity in diversity is key in the area\u2019s development and so I urge all of us that ethnicity should not divide us.\u00a0Communal living is necessary; so let\u2019s foster unity and build a united Wasipe traditional area,\u201d Lawyer Mahama Shaibu emphasized.<\/p>\n
