{"id":256264,"date":"2016-10-08T13:33:04","date_gmt":"2016-10-08T13:33:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=256264"},"modified":"2016-10-08T13:33:04","modified_gmt":"2016-10-08T13:33:04","slug":"npps-manifesto-plagiarism-claims-juvenile-apc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=256264","title":{"rendered":"NPP&#8217;s manifesto plagiarism claims juvenile &#8211; APC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The All People\u2019s Congress (APC) described as childish and flippant claims by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that it had plagiarized its yet to be released manifesto.<\/p>\n<p>A former Chairman of the Legal and Constitutional Committee of the NPP, Mr Ayikoi Otoo, had suggested that the APC and its Flagbearer, Hassan Ayariga plagiarized most aspects of his party\u2019s manifesto.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mr Ayikoi Otoo, the plagarism was evident because Mr. Ayariga seemingly struggled to explain the issues he cited under the main areas in the APC manifesto<\/p>\n<p>But in a statement signed by the General Secretary of the APC, Razak Kojo Opoku, the party has downplayed the NPP allegations as \u201can irresponsible and wicked lie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement asserted that, \u201cthe APC manifesto was the product of months of diligent work by Dr Hassan Ayariga and his team of experts in the APC&#8230;\u00a0Any suggestion therefore that the APC took any portion of the NPP\u2019s phantom manifesto is only a figment of the imagination of the NPP flag-bearer and his team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The APC further noted in its statement that, \u201cthe NPP has in recent past put up many juvenile explanations to cover up for their inexplicable failure to write a manifesto.\u00a0They have accused everybody under the sun of stealing their manifesto at a time when they have not put out any document for public scrutiny\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The party has thus said it \u201cwill be on the lookout for any acts of plagiarism of our manifesto by the NPP, that is if they are able to put together a manifesto at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/65744f29-3f43-4ca9-baa3-a12ef12b32ac.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-256265\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/65744f29-3f43-4ca9-baa3-a12ef12b32ac.jpg\" alt=\"65744f29-3f43-4ca9-baa3-a12ef12b32ac\" width=\"600\" height=\"820\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Follow the hashtag <strong>#GhElections<\/strong> on social media for more election related stories<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Delali Adogla-Bessa\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The All People\u2019s Congress (APC) described as childish and flippant claims by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that it had plagiarized its yet to be released manifesto.
