{"id":255560,"date":"2016-10-06T19:23:58","date_gmt":"2016-10-06T19:23:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=255560"},"modified":"2016-10-06T19:23:58","modified_gmt":"2016-10-06T19:23:58","slug":"i-am-fully-committed-to-nkrumahist-ideals-cpp-running-mate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=255560","title":{"rendered":"I am fully committed to Nkrumahist ideals &#8211; CPP running mate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Running Mate\u00a0for the Convention People\u2019s Party (CPP), Nana Gabby Nsiah Nketia, has rubbished accusations by critics that his allegiance is still with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), after disclosing in a TV interview that he still has his NPP membership card.<\/p>\n<p>This follows calls by the Youth League of the CPP is demanding the immediate removal of the Vice Presidential nominee.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/ff0c0ff3-5b5b-4bd6-98f3-199cc817432a.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-255556\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/ff0c0ff3-5b5b-4bd6-98f3-199cc817432a.jpg\" alt=\"Gabby Nketia, CPP\" width=\"600\" height=\"394\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At\u00a0a ceremony to officially outdoor him, Mr. Nketia said he accepted to be the running mate for the CPP because he believed in the ideals of the founder Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and thus was fully committed to its cause.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI listened to Ivor Greenstreet. I heard his programmes, his ideas and how he wants to carry on the activities of Kwame Nkrumah,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/79b0cbf9-7363-475f-87c5-c161eaa88102.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-255557\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/79b0cbf9-7363-475f-87c5-c161eaa88102.jpg\" alt=\"Gabby Nketia, CPP, Ivor\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe all know the ideals of Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah; the seven year development plan and all the wonderful things he did.
