{"id":254410,"date":"2016-10-03T15:45:31","date_gmt":"2016-10-03T15:45:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=254410"},"modified":"2016-10-03T15:45:31","modified_gmt":"2016-10-03T15:45:31","slug":"ecg-to-introduce-recharge-cards-mobile-money-for-bill-payment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=254410","title":{"rendered":"ECG to introduce recharge cards, mobile money for bill payment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), has said it will soon introduce the use of recharge cards to power prepaid meters, as well as\u00a0mobile money platforms for the payment of bills.<\/p>\n<p>According to the company, the adoption of these payment platforms will bring satisfaction and relief to its customers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-254413\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/ECG-3-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"ecg-3\" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a media briefing in Takoradi, the Western regional Commercial manager of the company, Alex Anwobor, stated that \u201cas part of our outlook to make ECG more efficient and customer friendlier, we are considering introducing scratch cards where customers can buy at any point and time to recharge their credit balance. We are also considering using the mobile money platform to pay for bills.
