{"id":254119,"date":"2016-10-02T13:03:36","date_gmt":"2016-10-02T13:03:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=254119"},"modified":"2016-10-02T13:03:36","modified_gmt":"2016-10-02T13:03:36","slug":"asiedu-nketiah-escapes-accident-one-injured-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=254119","title":{"rendered":"Asiedu Nketiah involved in accident; one injured [Photos]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, on Sunday morning escaped unhurt after the vehicle on which he was traveling, rammed into a taxi on the Kintampo-Techiman road in the Brong Ahafo region.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-254121\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Mosquito-accident-2.jpeg\" alt=\"mosquito-accident-2\" width=\"684\" height=\"1216\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, who was on his way to the Ashanti Regional capital in the company of other party officials, drove into the Daewoo Matiz cab with registration number, BA 2507-14, after\u00a0the driver of the cab riskily crossed into their lane.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-254124\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/General-Mosquito.jpeg\" alt=\"general-mosquito\" width=\"960\" height=\"1280\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The taxi was badly mangled with the driver sustaining severe injuries.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-254120\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Mosquito-accident-1.jpeg\" alt=\"mosquito-accident-1\" width=\"684\" height=\"1216\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Municipal Chief Executive for Kintampo North, Justice Michael Baffuor, who confirmed the incident\u00a0to <strong>Citi News,\u00a0<\/strong>said it\u00a0occurred at about 9:00am Sunday morning.<\/p>\n<p>He said although the General secretary&#8217;s car had its headlight area badly affected, its occupants were unhurt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe General Secretary called me that the taxi driver crossed him whiles he was heading to Kumasi, but nothing happened to him.
