{"id":253769,"date":"2016-09-30T15:53:22","date_gmt":"2016-09-30T15:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=253769"},"modified":"2016-09-30T15:53:22","modified_gmt":"2016-09-30T15:53:22","slug":"greenstreet-edward-mahama-submit-nomination-forms-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=253769","title":{"rendered":"Greenstreet, Edward Mahama submit nomination forms [Photos]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two Nkrumahist parties, the Convention People&#8217;s Party (CPP), and the People\u2019s National Convention (PNC), have presented to the Electoral Commission (EC) the completed forms of their respective presidential nominees.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/20aaa504-4607-4e69-82c6-1f99eee12edd.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-253778\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/20aaa504-4607-4e69-82c6-1f99eee12edd.jpg\" alt=\"Edward Mahama, PNC\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This brings to 15 the total number of political parties and independent candidates who are likely to find their names on the ballot box on December 7, 2016.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/f991aa69-8a7c-4198-9ce9-6ea1664a7127.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-253786\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/f991aa69-8a7c-4198-9ce9-6ea1664a7127.jpg\" alt=\"CPP at EC\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The CPP and the PNC, were both led by the respective flagbearers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/8caf06b1-b4ca-47d5-b17d-845f914f9042.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-253787\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/8caf06b1-b4ca-47d5-b17d-845f914f9042.jpg\" alt=\"CPP\u2019s Ivor Greenstreet and Nana Gabby Nketia \" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>CPP\u2019s Ivor Greenstreet was accompanied by his running mate, Gabby Nketia, party chairman, Professor Edmund Delle, and others.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/5d2f838d-27ff-47c2-a9ce-902fab0f2220.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-253780\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/5d2f838d-27ff-47c2-a9ce-902fab0f2220.jpg\" alt=\"PNC, EC filing\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Edward Mahama, flagbearer of the PNC, also presented his forms in the company of his party chairman, Bernard Mornah.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/44d75808-36ba-4588-97c7-84f246935e88.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-253781\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/44d75808-36ba-4588-97c7-84f246935e88.jpg\" alt=\"Bernard Mornah, PNC\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, photographs of Mr. Mahama were missing in the filing forms.
