The Brong-Ahafo Regional Education office in Sunyani, has transferred some members of staff of Kintampo Senior High School, following allegations of misconduct leveled against them.<\/p>\n
A report signed by Mr Kwadwo Osei-Asibey, the Regional Director of Education, said the three-member committee that produced the report could not prove some of the allegations leveled against the Headmaster, Mr Atta Amponsah Frimpong and other members of staff.<\/p>\n
The Headmaster allegedly cut palm trees, tapped and distilled palmwine on campus.<\/p>\n
The school is also alleged to have collected unapproved fees from the students and issued unofficial receipts to them, and monies meant for the purchase of mono desks were misapplied.<\/p>\n
The report said Mr Frimpong should be transferred from the school immediately in his own interest.<\/p>\n
In addition, the school Accountant who was accused of using unofficial receipt for unapproved fees be transferred immediately.<\/p>\n
Others to be transferred are Awuni Annahu, who had specialised in Education but teaches Core-mathematics and Nuamah Gordon who studied Planning but teaches Core-mathematics.<\/p>\n
The rest are Atignongo Irene who studied Agricultural Science but teaches Mathematics and Adjei Forkuo, who studied Business Management but teaches Social Studies.<\/p>\n
The Committee recommended that Ms Margaret Ayamga Azuma, who was re-assigned as Store Keeper be nullified immediately to take her original position as the Chief Cook.<\/p>\n
\u201cBy this the Regional Director of Education is expected to implement these decisions without delay,\u201d the report said.<\/p>\n
