The 33-year-old actress and her \u2018Queen of Katwe\u2019 co-star David Oyelowo \u2013 who piled on 30lbs to play Martin Luther King Jr. in \u2018Selma\u2019 \u2013 played a game of \u2018Dwheel Breakers! Career Edition\u2019 during an appearance on \u2018Watch What Happens Live\u2019 and revealed what they would and wouldn\u2019t do for their art.<\/p>\n
Asked about the huge weight gain, Lupita said: \u201cI\u2019ve battled with this one, I have, but I don\u2019t think so.\u201d<\/p>\n
David added: \u201cI gained 30lbs to play Dr. King. I don\u2019t think I want to do triple that.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 33-year-old actress said lots of S&M action would be acceptable \u2013 but only if she was \u201cthe dominator\u201d.<\/p>\n
However, David would refuse for the sake of his family life with wife Jessica.<\/p>\n
He told host Andy Cohen: \u201cI have four children, so no.\u201d<\/p>\n
Both stars would work on a location without mobile phone reception for a year, but not in a cold place.<\/p>\n
Lupita noted: \u201cThat would be quite fabulous actually.\u201d<\/p>\n
And neither Lupita nor David would exchange a big pay cheque for a bad script.<\/p>\n
The actor said: \u201cThat is the way to kill your career.\u201d<\/p>\n
But both would accept stage roles as an \u2018adult baby\u2019.<\/p>\n
David said: \u201cThat sounds fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
Elsewhere on the show, David talked about his trip to Maui with \u2018Selma\u2019 co-star Oprah Winfrey and their boozy nights out.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cOprah likes shots, she will drink you under the table.\u201d<\/p>\n
But asked who picked up the bill, he simply said: \u201cShe likes me a lot, that\u2019s all I\u2019m going to say.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old star particularly enjoyed the fact Oprah is always accompanied by her own \u201cincredible\u201d travelling chefs.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cWe mostly talk about food because she has the most incredible chefs in the world.<\/p>\n
\u201cHave you ever heard of a Cronut, a mash up between a croissant and a donut? Oh my goodness, I\u2019m literally salivating.\u201d<\/p>\n
