The Electoral Commission (EC) has said persons who desire to be engaged as recruits for the December polls can apply at the various regional and district offices across the country.<\/p>\n
This follows calls by two groups; the Unemployed Graduates Association of Ghana (UGAG) and the Unemployed Teachers Association \u00a0asking the EC to consider them as collation officers during the elections.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”BmoHSeuteM3H7Kd65XEBoVWRuUHN9m1x”]The groups argued they would be better options instead of employing the services of members of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana (ICAG) to collate results per the Commission\u2019s new reforms.<\/p>\n
But the EC has maintained that anyone interested in working for the Commission during the polls in any capacity must first apply to be considered.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are graduates out there who wish to take part in this exercise if they are not taking part.
