Thousands of supporters of the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC), from across the country, have gathered at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium for the party’s\u00a0campaign launch today [Sunday].<\/p>\n

The President will be officially outdoored as the party\u2019s Presidential nominee for the December polls.<\/p>\n

President Mahama’s running mate, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur as well as the party’s national campaign team and parliamentary candidates will also be outdoored.<\/p>\n

The NDC has said the choice of the Central Region for the launch was a tribute to the late former President, John Evans Atta Mills, who hails from the region, four years after his passing.<\/p>\n

About 40,000 members of the party are expected to be at the event.<\/p>\n
