Jamie Vardy said his decision to remain with Leicester amid interest from Arsenal was \u201ceasy\u201d, revealing he did not even speak to the Gunners.<\/p>\n
The 29-year-old striker was heavily linked with a move to north London during the summer, but ended up signing a new and improved contract at the King Power.<\/p>\n
Vardy scored 24 goals last season en route to winning the Premier League\u00a0and highlighted the ‘unbelievable brotherhood’\u00a0the Foxes have as one reason to stay.<\/p>\n
Speaking to The Sun, he said: \u201cPersonally I feel I have a lot of unfinished business here.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt wasn\u2019t that big a decision, it was quite easy, this is where I wanted to be.\u201d<\/p>\n
And his international commitment meant he was always focused on Euro 2016, explaining he didn\u2019t actually speak to the Gunners or manager Arsene Wenger about a possible transfer.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was away with England. No [I never spoke with them].\u201d<\/p>\n
