The Progressive People\u2019s Party (PPP) has vowed to eradicate the politics of ‘winner takes all’ from Ghanaian governance system should it win power in the upcoming general elections.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the PPP\u2019s national convention at Ghana International Trade Fair Centre today [Saturday], the party\u2019s flagbearer, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, assured Ghanaians that his party would \u201cchange the narrow ‘winner takes all’ parochial, ideology fixations to governance in Ghana forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”538FwKDKnpwtt9I6mc0pnkVHDKBdd5f8″]Dr. Nduom, who was affirmed as the PPP flagbearer at the convention, explained that this government would be one that places a premium on competence and would be blind to party affiliations and the like.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are committed to running an inclusive government using the best men and women no matter where they come from, no matter what their religion is, no matter their party affiliation. We want the best for Ghana and only the best and selfless will serve in our administration.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cTo the PPP, competency matters. Being the best matters. Incorruptibility important and is paramount,\u201d The PPP flagbearer added.<\/p>\n
