{"id":230647,"date":"2016-07-13T14:26:25","date_gmt":"2016-07-13T14:26:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=230647"},"modified":"2016-07-13T14:26:25","modified_gmt":"2016-07-13T14:26:25","slug":"suspected-human-meat-seller-accosted-at-adabraka-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=230647","title":{"rendered":"Suspected &#8216;human meat&#8217; seller accosted at Adabraka Market"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some traders at the Adabraka Market \u00a0in Accra\u00a0on Wednesday\u00a0dragged a woman in her early forties to the Adabraka Police Station, over suspicions that\u00a0she was selling\u00a0human parts as meat to unsuspecting consumers.<\/p>\n<p>The woman, according to the market women, was carrying a tray with some pieces of meat, and was moving strangely at the market.<\/p>\n<p>The market women say all attempts to get her to disclose the source and the type of meat she was carrying proved futile.<\/p>\n<p>One of the market women at the Adabraka Market told <strong>Citi News<\/strong> that the lady \u201cwas selling the meat,\u201d and when \u201cwe queried her to find out what she was selling she refused to talk.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was moving about with the meat in a broken tray. \u00a0We asked her the cost of the meat but she refused to answer, so what else can we think of? That is why we marched her to the Police station. The meat looked like beef,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Another market woman\u00a0said, they were told that the strange meat, was meant \u201cfor ritual and was given to her by her pastor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf it\u2019s for rituals, she should be send it to the person who gave her this weird meat. She refused to answer and she was behaving strangely, we realized its human meat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to some of my colleagues, she confessed that it is human meat and that her pastor gave it to her to perform some rituals. The women think she cannot perform such ritual at the market so they dragged her to the Police station,\u201d another market woman\u00a0added.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Godwin A.
