{"id":228894,"date":"2016-07-08T06:40:08","date_gmt":"2016-07-08T06:40:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=228894"},"modified":"2016-07-08T06:40:08","modified_gmt":"2016-07-08T06:40:08","slug":"no-wassce-results-cancelled-waec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=228894","title":{"rendered":"No WASSCE results cancelled &#8211; WAEC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The West African Examination Council (WAEC), has denied reports that it has cancelled the results of some schools from this year&#8217;s West African Senior School Certificate \u00a0Examination, (WASSCE).<\/p>\n<p>According to WAEC, several rumors on social media had indicated that, the Council had scrapped\u00a0the results \u00a0of some schools.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;KHDs5q8879WwW05jVlSehujKeW39dLiS&#8221;]In a statement signed by the\u00a0Deputy Public Affairs Director,\u00a0Agnes Teye-Cudjoe, WAEC denied that any such decision had been taken by the Council.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Council wishes to state emphatically that it has not cancelled any WASSCE results neither has it issued any statement to that <a style=\"text-decoration:none; color: #333;\" href=\"http:\/\/hesca.net\/tramadol\/\">tramadol<\/a> effect,&#8221; the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>WAEC urged all Ghanaians to &#8220;disregard the alleged statement as it is not emanating from the Council.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WASCCE papers leaked<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At least,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/04\/06\/3-wassce-papers-leak-social-media\/\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>three papers<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in this year&#8217;s WASSCE, including Oral English, Integrated Science and Social Studies, reportedly leaked on social media.<\/p>\n<p>The situation prompted calls for those <a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/04\/08\/waec-must-cancel-leaked-wassce-papers-mp\/\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>papers to be cancelled<\/strong><\/span><\/a> as the credibility of the exams had been compromised.<\/p>\n<p>However, WAEC dismissed these calls, stating that the papers were not leaked and that the candidates only had &#8220;foreknowledge&#8221; of the questions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Edwin Kwakofi\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The West African Examination Council (WAEC), has denied reports that it has cancelled the results of some schools from this year&#8217;s West African Senior School Certificate \u00a0Examination, (WASSCE).
