Police in Dzodze, the District Capital of Ketu North of the Volta Region, are on a manhunt for six young men who in separate instances, allegedly defiled two teenagers on the night Junior High School (JHS) Students completed this year’s\u00a0Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).<\/p>\n
The victims were at\u00a0a party organized at a popular joint\u00a0in town [Plus Two], when they were\u00a0attacked around\u00a09:00pm.<\/p>\n
Narrating the incident to Citi News<\/strong>, the District Police Commander, ASP Albert Atsu Zigah, said the first girl aged 17, reported she was assaulted\u00a0by one Gafa Lalista from Dzodze-Adagbledu.<\/p>\n According to her, they were at a friends\u2019 birthday party at\u00a0Plus Two, when the suspect, Lalista, allegedly dragged her to the back of the\u00a0building\u00a0and forcefully had sex with her.<\/p>\n The other girl, aged 16, was also returning from the same party around\u00a0the same time, when five young men allegedly defiled\u00a0her.<\/p>\n They were said to have dragged her into one of the classrooms of Ablorme EP JHS, where they took turns to defile her.<\/p>\n The victim, managed to walk home and reported the issue to her mother.<\/p>\n The mother subsequently reported to the police who later accompanied them to Dzodze St Anthony\u2019s Hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n According to the victim, she knows one of the suspects by name, Selorm Dzakpasu, and can clearly identify the other four suspects who are all on the run.<\/p>\n The police have however mounted an intensive search for the six suspects, and have called on the general public to volunteer information on their whereabouts.<\/p>\n –<\/p>\n By:\u00a0King Norbert Akpablie\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Police in Dzodze, the District Capital of Ketu North of the Volta Region, are on a manhunt for six young men who in separate instances, allegedly defiled two teenagers on the night Junior High School (JHS) Students completed this year’s\u00a0Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
