A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Arthur Kennedy says he fully supports Professor Kwame Karikari\u2019s assertion that the NPP is indeed not living up to its responsibility as a relevant opposition party.<\/p>\n
Dr. Arthur Kennedy says he is convinced the party has not done enough to protect the interest of Ghanaians under the current economic crises.<\/p>\n
Professor Karikari with the University of Ghana\u2019s School of Communication at a workshop accused the NPP and other political parties of sleeping on the job by not keeping government on its toes.<\/p>\n
He therefore charged the media to take up the mandate by representing the interest of Ghanaian citizens and holding government accountable.<\/p>\n
But the Vice Chairman of the NPP, Freddie Blay denied this assertion and maintained that the party is doing its possible best to protect the interest of Ghanaians.<\/p>\n
