{"id":223174,"date":"2016-06-17T11:02:37","date_gmt":"2016-06-17T11:02:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=223174"},"modified":"2016-06-17T11:02:37","modified_gmt":"2016-06-17T11:02:37","slug":"286-students-graduate-at-zenith-university-college","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=223174","title":{"rendered":"286 students graduate at Zenith University College"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Zenith University College last Saturday held its first Congregation ceremony for this year at the school\u2019s premises.<\/p>\n<p>The university had decided to hold two separate congregation every year.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony saw a total of 268 candidates graduating with honours\u00a0comprising\u00a0Masters of Business Administration (MBA), 21 and 247 Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) candidates.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-223195 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/1356ade0-bcf7-41d4-8e99-a41c3dc9314b.jpg\" alt=\"1356ade0-bcf7-41d4-8e99-a41c3dc9314b\" width=\"768\" height=\"536\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the school\u2019s Council, Prof Jophus Anamuah-Mensah, explained the reason behind the college\u2019s new initiative of holding two graduation ceremonies in a year saying\u00a0\u201cit is indeed without any doubt that this initiative will bring great relief to our students,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He also added that, \u201cuntil recently, students who complete their studies had to wait for almost a year before being given their certificates. This is one of the many initiatives the college will be rolling out in the coming years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On his part, the rector of the university, Stephen Takyi-Asiedu, buttressed the points ealier raised by the chairman of the council.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-223194 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/923b7641-b518-40b3-8aaf-858b79713192.jpg\" alt=\"923b7641-b518-40b3-8aaf-858b79713192\" width=\"768\" height=\"529\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At the ceremony, Ndukwe Ibe emerged the overall best student for this year\u2019s first batch of graduates.<\/p>\n<p>He was given a laptop and an amount of GHs 1,000.<\/p>\n<p>The next congregation ceremony is scheduled for December, this year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Credit: Zenith University College<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zenith University College last Saturday held its first Congregation ceremony for this year at the school\u2019s premises.
