{"id":221408,"date":"2016-06-11T11:48:24","date_gmt":"2016-06-11T11:48:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=221408"},"modified":"2016-06-11T11:48:24","modified_gmt":"2016-06-11T11:48:24","slug":"ndc-school-to-commence-soon-asiedu-nketia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=221408","title":{"rendered":"NDC school to commence soon &#8211; Asiedu Nketia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said the party will soon establish a school to train its members.<\/p>\n<p>According to the NDC General Secretary, the school will help the party teach the principles, ideologies and values of the party to its members.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-221420 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/ndc-24th-anniversary-12-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"ndc 24th anniversary (12)\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the 24<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the formation of the NDC, Asiedu Nketia added that the school will also enable them groom more leaders for the party to maintain a succession plan and also transfer ideas from one generation to another.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-221412 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/ndc-24th-anniversary-4-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"ndc 24th anniversary (4)\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On issues with the NDC\u2019s manifesto, Asiedu Nketia said it is ready but awaiting approval from the party\u2019s hierarchy.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the Majority Leader of Parliament and an NDC MP for Nadowli-Kaleo, one of Ghana\u2019s long serving legislators, Alban Bagbin called on the rank and file of the NDC to be selfless.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-221418 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/ndc-24th-anniversary-11-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"ndc 24th anniversary (11)\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He explained that NDC is a party that fights for equity and accountability.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-221415 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/ndc-24th-anniversary-7-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"ndc 24th anniversary (7)\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He called for the speedy establishment of the party\u2019s school to implement these values.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-221414 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/ndc-24th-anniversary-6-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"ndc 24th anniversary (6)\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In attendance was the President, John Dramani Mahama, former President and founder of NDC, Jerry John Rawlings as well as other NDC stalwarts.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Kojo Agyeman\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said the party will soon establish a school to train its members.
