Reports indicate that the\u00a0New Patriotic Party (NPP) has postponed a\u00a0National Executive meeting which was scheduled for Monday due to\u00a0a disagreement\u00a0between the supporters and the executive\u00a0.<\/p>\n
The purported disagreement is as a result of the dismissal of Opare Hammond from his post as the Director of Finance and Administration the New Patriotic Party [NPP].<\/p>\n
He was relieved off his duties last Friday after a brief meeting between himself \u00a0the National Chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong.<\/p>\n
He[Opare Hammond] has since been asked to hand over his duty to one Edward Tetteh.<\/p>\n
However, speaking to Citi News<\/b>, \u00a0Mr Opare has accused both the General Secretary and National Chairman of overstepping their boundaries and threatened to make a formal report to the national council of elders of the party.<\/p>\n
As the Director of Finance and Administration Mr. Hammond was in charge of the day to day administration of the party as well as the management of the parties finances.<\/p>\n
Mr. Hammond was appointed by the former National Executive Committee which was then headed by former National Chairman, Jake Otanka Obetsebi lamptey.<\/p>\n
