{"id":21765,"date":"2014-05-31T08:27:30","date_gmt":"2014-05-31T08:27:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=21765"},"modified":"2014-05-31T08:28:56","modified_gmt":"2014-05-31T08:28:56","slug":"chinese-farmer-invests-motorized-suitcase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=21765","title":{"rendered":"Chinese farmer invents motorized suitcase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A farmer in China has invented a motorized suitcase which can reportedly carry your clothes and take you to the airport at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>The contraption &#8211; with two small wheels at the back and one at the front &#8211; is the brainchild of He Liang, a farmer from Hunan Province,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wantchinatimes.com\/news-subclass-cnt.aspx?id=20140530000028&amp;cid=1303\">reports the Taiwan-based Want China Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It can carry up to two passengers, cover distances of up to 60km (37 miles) and maintain a speed of up to 20km\/h (12mph). It&#8217;s powered by a rechargeable lithium battery and can be steered with handlebars when seated.<\/p>\n<p>The special suitcase, which He has spent 10 years developing, is dubbed the City Cab.<\/p>\n<p>There is apparently just as much space to keep your clothes as with normal luggage and when it&#8217;s empty it weighs just 7kg (15lb).<\/p>\n<p>The newspaper says City Cabs has now been patented as a multi-functional travel device, and He is hoping to see it on the road soon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Source: BBC<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A farmer in China has invented a motorized suitcase which can reportedly carry your clothes and take you to the airport at the same time.
