Newmont Mining Corporation has revealed that its operations in Ghana generated about $464 million in economic value to stakeholders in the country.<\/p>\n
This was captured in\u00a0their recently published annual \u2018Beyond the Mine\u2019 report which detailed Newmont\u2019s global performance in safety, economic, social and environmental stewardship.<\/p>\n

Newmont Ghana\u2019s Ahafo Mine also successfully resettled 77 households during the reporting period.<\/p>\n
Their Akyem mine also collaborated with the Forestry Commission to identify and allocate a 243 hectare site for its reforestation project.<\/p>\n
