{"id":209253,"date":"2016-04-24T20:53:44","date_gmt":"2016-04-24T20:53:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=209253"},"modified":"2016-04-24T20:53:44","modified_gmt":"2016-04-24T20:53:44","slug":"gpl-week-9-hearts-win-obuasi-kotoko-fall-kumasi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=209253","title":{"rendered":"GPL Week 9: Hearts win in Obuasi, Kotoko fall in Kumasi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Hearts of Oak <\/strong>capped a 2-1 away win at <strong>AshantiGold <\/strong>to bring some happiness to their fold after a stressful week.<\/p>\n<p>The Phobians were involved in some off-the-field drama as their head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi walked out of a management meeting <span data-term=\"goog_1559771688\">on Thursday<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The incident led to several rumours stating that Yatsuhashi\u2019s departure from the team was imminent but the management kept him in charge and he duly guided the team to their second away win of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Forward Cosmos Dauda grabbed two goals in the second half with Nafiu Awudu scoring what became the consolation for the home team.<\/p>\n<p>The result moved Hearts up to 18 points while AshGold are 10<sup>th<\/sup> on 10 points.<\/p>\n<p>League leaders <strong>Wa All Stars<\/strong> got a 2-0 home win over <strong>Inter Allies<\/strong> at the Wa Park.<\/p>\n<p>Emmanuel Ocran and Richard Arthur got the goals for All Stars to keep them at the top of the table with 20 points.<\/p>\n<p>Inter Allies are 14<sup>th<\/sup> with 8 points.<\/p>\n<p>Saddick Adams got two goals as <strong>Berekum Chelsea<\/strong> beat <strong>Dreams FC<\/strong> 3-0 at the Golden City Park. The other goal was scored by Seth Appiah and the home team now has 16 points and is 4<sup>th<\/sup> on the table.<\/p>\n<p>Dreams are now 7<sup>th<\/sup> on the log with 14 points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WAFA<\/strong> beat <strong>Ebusua Dwarfs<\/strong> 2-0 at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.<\/p>\n<p>Charles Boateng and Tanko Ibrahim were on target for WAFA who move up to 5<sup>th<\/sup> on 14 points. Dwarfs are 15<sup>th<\/sup> with 9 points.<\/p>\n<p>A brace from Yahaya Mohammed and a strike from Elvis Opoku helped <strong>Aduana Stars<\/strong> beat <strong>Medeama<\/strong> 3-0 at the Dormaa Park.<\/p>\n<p>Mohammed completed a goal haul of five <span data-term=\"goog_1559771689\">in three days<\/span> after scoring a hat-trick against Hasaacas <span data-term=\"goog_1559771690\">on Wednesday<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Aduana are now 8<sup>th<\/sup> with 13 points and Medeama lie 16<sup>th<\/sup> with 7 points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hasaacas<\/strong> were beaten 1-0 at home by <strong>Liberty Professionals<\/strong>. Bernard Arthur\u2019s second half strike gave the visitors the win as they climb to 3<sup>rd<\/sup> on the log with 16 points. Hasaacas are 12<sup>th<\/sup> with 10 points.<\/p>\n<p>In other results, <strong>Techiman City<\/strong> beat <strong>Bechem United<\/strong> 2-0. Techiman City have 14 points and are in 6<sup>th<\/sup> place while Bechem are 11<sup>th<\/sup> on 10 points.<\/p>\n<p><span data-term=\"goog_1559771691\">On Saturday<\/span>, Asante Kotoko were beaten 1-0 at home by New Edubiase.
