{"id":206155,"date":"2016-04-12T13:24:10","date_gmt":"2016-04-12T13:24:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=206155"},"modified":"2016-04-12T13:24:10","modified_gmt":"2016-04-12T13:24:10","slug":"hundreds-gather-for-obinims-spiritual-battle-with-fetish-priest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=206155","title":{"rendered":"Hundreds gather for Obinim&#8217;s spiritual &#8216;battle&#8217; with fetish priest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hundreds of eager spectators converged on Tuesday at the Kumasi Jubilee Park in the Ashanti Region,\u00a0to witness the much-talked about\u00a0spiritual showdown between controversial Pastor, Bishop Daniel Obinim and renowned Kumasi-based Fetish Priest Okomfo Yaw Appiah.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-206167\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/20160412055340-1.jpg\" alt=\"20160412055340 (1)\" width=\"600\" height=\"413\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The atmosphere at the park according to<strong> Citi News&#8217;<\/strong> Lauretta Timah, was\u00a0reminiscent of the incident in the Bible where Elijah engaged the prophets of Baal in a contest to prove who had superior powers.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-206165\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/20160412055336.jpg\" alt=\"20160412055336\" width=\"600\" height=\"408\" \/><br \/>\nThis battle was expected to come off last week in the studios of Accra-based Happy FM, but Obinim did not show up to meet the\u00a0Fetish priest.<\/p>\n<p>Some\u00a0police officers were also at the Jubilee Park\u00a0to ensure orderliness as the numbers increased.
