A former Deputy controller and Accountant General, Seidu\u00a0Kotomah \u00a0has been appointed as the new Controller and Accountant General.<\/p>\n
Prior to his appointment he was the Deputy Controller and Accountant General in charge of Financial Management Service.<\/p>\n
His appointment follows the exit of the former controller, Grace Francisca Adzrone, whose is due for retirement.<\/p>\n
Seidu\u00a0Kotomah a chartered accountant,\u00a0was employed by the Controller and Accountant General\u2019s Department (CAGD) in September 1989.<\/p>\n
He has over 21 years experience in public sector accounting.<\/p>\n
Prior to his appointment to the current position, he held a number of significant positions including the Director of the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS), Head of Payroll, Director of Internal Audit and Investigation and Head of Main Accounts.<\/p>\n
He has also served as Treasury Officer in Washington DC and Assistant Treasury Officer in London.<\/p>\n
Seidu\u00a0Kotomah holds an MBA from Middlesex University, London and BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Ghana.<\/p>\n
He also undertook an ACCA course at Financial Training Company in London, United Kingdom.<\/p>\n
