{"id":203641,"date":"2016-04-03T18:00:55","date_gmt":"2016-04-03T18:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=203641"},"modified":"2016-04-03T18:00:55","modified_gmt":"2016-04-03T18:00:55","slug":"africa-world-airlines-unfazed-return-three-local-airlines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=203641","title":{"rendered":"Africa World Airlines unfazed by return of three local airlines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Africa World Airlines (AWA) has told Citi Business News the airlines does not feel threatened with the resumption of flights by three other airlines later this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the airline the coming in of the three will rather deepen competition and offer customers opportunities to choose from.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority has disclosed to <strong>Citi Business News<\/strong> that Antrak Air, Fly 540 now Royal Fly-GH as well as City Link have all advanced in their processes to resume operations by the third quarter of this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The three, halted operations between 2014 and 2015 for varied reasons but have shown indications of returning onto the market scene after some reforms.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently, only two domestic airlines are operating. They include the Africa World Airlines and Starbow Airlines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-41637 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Starbow-1.jpg\" alt=\"Starbow\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But Head of Commercial of Africa World Airlines, Richard Kyereh tells Citi <strong>Business News<\/strong> the come -back will not affect current operations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWith the coming in of new entries or resumption of the three, it can never be a threat.
