{"id":202551,"date":"2016-03-29T13:49:53","date_gmt":"2016-03-29T13:49:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=202551"},"modified":"2016-03-29T13:49:53","modified_gmt":"2016-03-29T13:49:53","slug":"sa-woman-outraged-over-brothers-ill-treatment-in-ghana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=202551","title":{"rendered":"SA woman outraged over brother&#8217;s &#8216;ill-treatment&#8217; in Ghana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A sister of one of the three South African ex-Police officers who were detained in Ghana, is insisting that her brother Major (rtd), Ahmed Shaik Hazis is not a criminal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In an exclusive interview with <strong>Citi News<\/strong>, Nimala Abboy said she was outraged about the treatment meted out to her brother and his colleagues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;o8tjrZ6fWYOsAkS9KY0Bllk1Qlfb3Dox&#8221;]She said \u201cmy brother has his own security company and does security, VIP protection and body guarding and that is what he does for a living.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She added her family members were outraged by \u201cthe way they [his brother and the two others] were treated and we didn\u2019t understand the charges that were brought against them but we just rejoiced that they are on their way home and we are just happy that there was no real case against them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Abboy, Major Hazis came to Ghana to only conduct business \u201cand that is what he came to do and nothing illegal or nothing outrageous as being stated.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_202576\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-202576\" style=\"width: 544px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-202576\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/sister-of-SA-guys.jpg\" alt=\"Nimala Abboy is a sister to one of the three South African ex-Police officers \" width=\"544\" height=\"499\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-202576\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nimala Abboy is a sister of one of the three South African ex-Police officers<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She was thankful to the \u201cthe NPP for standing by them [3 ex South African Police officers] and for the group of attorneys that represented them [in court]. We are very grateful and thankful for their support.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0She also said their family is elated his brother has finally been released to return home.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe are very excited as a family because we know that justice has been done in this case because they are innocent, they were not guilty of any criminal activity, we just want to thank the Lord Jesus for answering our prayers because he intervened in this matter and we are very excited to know that our relatives are coming home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3 SA ex-Police officers deported<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meawhile, the three South African ex-Police officers \u00a0have been deported.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They were put on board South African Airways flight number 210, which departed around 9:26 am to Johannesburg on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: Godwin A.
