Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) has commended Citi FM<\/strong> for the just-ended\u00a0Heritage Caravan trip which the bank said is promoting Ghanaian culture.<\/p>\n

More than\u00a070 people on Monday, March 7 set off\u00a0for a 7-day trip to eight regions, giving them a unique opportunity to\u00a0experience Ghana in a different way.<\/p>\n

[contextly_sidebar id=”dphPGcRKLyxpjtRwQZ0fufVW1mW3BVQ5″]The Heritage Caravan, the first of its kind, was part of the station\u2019s Heritage Month initiative, held annually in Ghana\u2019s birth month, March.<\/p>\n

The caravan travelled through eight out of Ghana\u2019s ten regions and\u00a0GCB bank was one of the five sponsors for the maiden edition of the project.<\/p>\n

The Head of Corporate Affairs at GCB, Tyra Obuobi in an interview with\u00a0Citi News<\/strong>\u00a0explained that her company’s deacon to sponsor the project was also to give\u00a0them the opportunity to also share the GCB story across the length and breadth of Ghana.<\/p>\n

“It is a wonderful opportunity for GCB bank… it gives us an opportunity to market the whole country. People need to appreciate what we have in Ghana.”<\/p>\n
