The Salaga District Court, has sentenced a 22 year-old \u00a0man to four months in prison with hard labour, for his role in the circulation of nude pictures of women on social media.<\/p>\n
The convict, Yusif Yunuf, was sentenced on his plea under the charge of circulating obscene material.<\/p>\n
He is believed to have collaborated with an individual named only as Okyere, a nurse at the Salaga Government Hospital.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”lSuSkNONSCmlWOmn4yIngVKphEDwO57y”]Two weeks ago, some social media platforms were awash with nude pictures of some women in Salaga.<\/p>\n
Okyere is believed to have taken the photos of the women without their knowledge while he was\u00a0having sex with them.<\/p>\n
According to the Northern Regional police command, it officers gathered\u00a0some intelligence on Okyere’s whereabouts but were unable to apprehend him.<\/p>\n
The police said the convict,\u00a0Yusif Yunuf, did not take the nude pictures but was the brain behind the circulation of same.<\/p>\n
“Yusif Yunuf was the brain behind the circulation of some nude pictures that went viral in Salaga some few weeks ago.”<\/p>\n
The police revealed\u00a0that Yunuf was arrested and prosecuted after the memory card which had the nude pictures was found on him.<\/p>\n
