He said, \u201cI detected it and questioned her. She instead said she gave me money to do that work for her which was not accurate. Instead of keeping quiet we sent the case to the Police.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sophia Ackuaku \u00a0in 2012 vied for the Dome Kwabenya seat<\/strong><\/p>\n Sophia Ackuaku, who had served as a Deputy Director of the National Service Secretariat (NSS), was the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for the\u00a0Dome\/Kwabenya Constituency in the 2012 general elections.<\/p>\n She lost to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) candidate,\u00a0Sarah Adwoa Safo in that election.<\/p>\n Adwoa Safo polled\u00a063.75% of the votes, while Ackuaku had\u00a035.58%.<\/p>\n Ackuaku ditches Dome-Kwabenya for Obom-Domeabra<\/strong><\/p>\n Madam Ackuaku subsequently ditched the Dome-Kwabenya for the\u00a0Domeabra-Obom constituency.<\/p>\n In an interview with journalists, Sophia Ackuaku said: \u00a0\u201cI decided to contest Obom-Domeabra because I think that is where I\u2019m currently needed. I know that constituency very well\u2026my grandfather has a village there called Ackuakukope and I know the level of deprivation there.
