Be afraid, famous people. Be very, very afraid. When Aaron Ramsey scores for\u00a0Arsenal, celebrity lives are in danger.<\/p>\n

After the Welsh midfielder scored the opener in the Gunners’ 2-2 draw at Tottenham, the only people who were initially worried about the consequences were Spurs fans.<\/p>\n

But after the death of Nancy Reagan – the wife of former American president Ronald Reagan – the following day, the internet has been quick to once again seize on the (supposed) “Curse of Aaron Ramsey”.<\/p>\n

As daft as it might sound, there is a bizarrely long list of famous people who have died just after a Ramsey goal. There are now NINE examples of a Ramsey strike (apparently) leading to the death of a high-profile figure.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, this latest example of the “curse” has got (what feels like) most of the online world joking about the Arsenal man’s Grim Reaper-like qualities.<\/p>\n

Ramsey, however, is not about to join in with the gag.<\/p>\n

Despite the lighthearted nature of this nonsense, when “the curse of Ramsey” was brought up to the Welshman during an interview in June last year, he made it clear he doesn’t find it amusing.<\/p>\n

Alex Dimond, the journalist who asked Ramsey the question, took to Twitter to reveal the awkward exchange.<\/p>\n

He wrote: “And here’s a deleted scene from that Aaron Ramsey interview, when my ham-fisted attempt at ‘banter’ went wrong”<\/p>\n
