Hundreds of NDC loyalists and government officials poured onto the streets of Hohoe in a health walk on Monday March 7, to galvanize support for President John Mahama going into the November elections.<\/p>\n

The walk was organised by the youth wing of the NDC in the Volta Region.<\/p>\n

The event\u00a0brought together government officials and party bigwigs\u00a0\u00a0such as the Chief of Staff; Julius Deborah, \u00a0Minister of Interior Prosper Bani, Minister of Health, Alex Segbefia, Deputy Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation and MP of the constituency; Dr. Bernice Adiku Heloo,.<\/div>\n

The others are Mr. Francis Ganyaglo, Deputy Regional Minister; presidential staffer\u00a0Elvis Afriyie Ankrah and the entire regional executives of the NDC as well as MMDCEs.<\/div>\n

The Deputy Volta Regional Organizer for the National Democratic Congress,\u00a0Joyce Osei, told Citi News<\/strong>\u00a0the tour was aimed at bringing the youth together as a political party to re-strategize for the November elections.<\/p>\n

“The whole idea was to bring the youth on board because as a political party you can only win elections through the youth and women\u2019s wing so we just wanted to vitalise the youth and the women\u2019s wing but I was surprised at the turn out. I am very impressed because this is just the beginning.”<\/p>\n
