{"id":194546,"date":"2016-03-01T08:00:53","date_gmt":"2016-03-01T08:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=194546"},"modified":"2016-03-01T08:00:53","modified_gmt":"2016-03-01T08:00:53","slug":"fpso-prof-jea-mills-to-arrive-this-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=194546","title":{"rendered":"FPSO Prof. JEA Mills to arrive this week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The second Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel which was christened FPSO Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, is to arrive this week.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;9xgEDgvDuXyu0I6TEvYdK55eCKQFjZ5r&#8221;]The FPSO Prof. John Evans Atta Mills is expected to produce and store oil from Ghana\u2019s Tweneboa-Enyenra-Ntomme (TEN) offshore oil fields.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a nominal production capacity of 80,000 barrels of oil per day and a storage capacity of 1.7 million barrels, the FPSO will be attached to nine anchor piles which will maintain her position above the TEN fields, around 60 kilometers from the coast of Ghana\u2019s Western Region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Construction of the FPSO vessel which began in Singapore in October 2013 set sail to Ghana on <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2016\/01\/25\/184434\/\" target=\"_blank\">January\u00a023 2016<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Confirming to <strong>Citi Business News<\/strong> the arrival of the second FPSO the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Commission Theophilus Awhireng said all was set for its arrival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe FPSO that will be producing the TEN fields will be arriving in the country this week; this will be the second one christened FPSO Prof. Evan Atta Mills.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;It is the facility that will basically bring all the oil from the ground.
