Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo, has announced he will deliver what he calls \u201cThe Real State of the Nation\u201d on Monday, February 29.<\/p>\n
Nana Addo announced this on Twitter last\u00a0Friday.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m inviting you to join me as I present \u2018The Real State of the Nation,\u201d the tweet said.<\/p>\n

On Thursday February 25, President John Dramani Mahama delivered his last state of the nation address for his first four-year \u00a0touting the achievements of his government.<\/p>\n
Among other things, the President focused on major achievements made by his government in the health sector, education and energy.<\/p>\n
He said his administration had fulfilled the promise he made at a similar address in 2015, to fix the power crisis (Dumsor) which plagued the nation, collapsing businesses and rendering many jobless.<\/p>\n
The minority in Parliament said the President\u2019s address was filled with half-truths, with the acting NPP Chairman Freddie Blay also describing it as disappointing.<\/p>\n
