Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson (Bulldog), has been arrested for the murder of Fennec Okyere, manager of musician, Kwaw Kese.<\/p>\n
Bulldog was arrested Thursday afternoon after investigations by the Homicide Unit of the Police Criminal Investigative Department (CID) pointed to him as the prime suspect.<\/p>\n
According to Public Relations Officer of the Criminal Investigative Department, ASP Joseph Darkwah, investigations established that Bulldog had issued numerous death threats on the life of Fennec Okyere.<\/p>\n
\u2018\u2019Since the death of Mr. Fennec Okyere, the CID has been working seriously to find out the perpetrators of his murder; also our intelligence and our men had been on the ground gathering information,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
ASP Darkwah noted that police intelligence gathered led to the arrest of Bulldog late Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n
\u2018\u2019There have been a number of threats both verbally and through text messages from Bulldog to the deceased,\u2019\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n
He said Bulldog is currently in police custody to assist in investigations.<\/p>\n
Bulldog is manager of dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale and CEO of Bull Haus Entertainment,.<\/p>\n
Fennec Okyere was killed at his Manet Gardens residence on the Spintex Road, Accra on Thursday, March 13 by unknown assailants. He died at age 31.<\/p>\n
