Ghana\u2019s Christian Atsu has joined Malaga on loan from Chelsea until the end of the current season.<\/p>\n
The player was expected to join Levante as news broke of an agreement between himself and the team over the weekend but he has decided to join Malaga rather.<\/p>\n
The player completed the move on Monday but it is unclear when he will feature for the team for the first time.<\/p>\n
Atsu said he was pleased with the prospect of getting some match time especially as he did not have a lot of match time when he went to Everton and Bournemouth on loan from Chelsea.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m very happy I have finally moved to another club. It\u2019s a new challenge and as a player you should be able to play in any league,\u201d Atsu told Spanish media upon arrival in Spain.<\/p>\n
\u201cRight now it\u2019s not about what suits or doesn\u2019t suit you. It\u2019s where I will get time to play.<\/p>\n
I spoke to the coach and we had a very good chat and if I work hard there at least he will give me the chance.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe last six months it\u2019s been tough. Nobody can change the past but I can change the future. I am going to Spain and I think it\u2019s a new challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n
Malaga are currently 12th on Spanish League table with 24 points and they play against Eibar on January 30.<\/p>\n
