Interior Minister Mark Woyongo says he was not involved in discussions on the two former Guantanamo Bay detainees who were recently transferred to Ghana.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know the details for their being here. I wasn\u2019t privy to the discussions but maybe that can be found from National Security. They are expected to comport themselves , not to do anything untoward and I am sure they will be briefed on what to do and what not to do,\u201d said the Minister.<\/p>\n

Various religious groups<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and individuals have called on government to return the two to the US where\u00a0they were repatriated from.<\/p>\n But the Navrongo MP at a press conference in Accra sought to allayed fears of apprehensive Ghanaians, saying the necessary measures had been put in place to ensure the safety of the citizenry.<\/p>\n \u201cThe officer at the American Embassy said they are not a security risk as to such an extent that we should be worried because we are in a position to contain them.
