The Sparrow Entertainment Festival lived up to the hype as\u00a0\u00a0cinema enthusiasts were treated\u00a0to two days of glamour, excitement, and fabulous productions.<\/p>\n
The two-day festival was well attended and star-studded as Sparrow Productions in the midst of other memorable experiences showed two of their exciting upcoming productions for the year; Shampaign and Rebecca.<\/p>\n
The two movie theaters at the Silverbird Cinema where the two productions were shown, were filled to capacity with audience cheering loudly during the showing.<\/p>\n
Politician Samia Nkrumah who was at the festival in an interview with Citi News<\/strong>\u00a0lauded\u00a0Shirley Frimpong Manso for the two exciting productions.<\/p>\n According to her, \u201cRebecca was fun and was intense at the same time, and the actors were great, I enjoyed it. I don\u2019t think it is easy to do a movie with just two people, so Shirley Frimpong-Manso did a great job\u201d.<\/p>\n Some of the celebrities in attendance included; Ama Abebrese, Nana Akua Addo, Yvonne Okoro,\u00a0 Zynnell\u00a0 Zuh, Akorfa Edjeani\u2013Asiedu, Joseyln Dumas, Adjetey Annang, Ofie Kudjo, among others.<\/p>\n Yvonne Okoro in an interview with Citi News <\/strong>indicated that Rebecca has been her most challenging movie.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is a priceless experience for me, though this is not first time shooting in Ghana, Shooting in Ghana is great, it is quite relaxing, it feels at home, you guys rock,\u201d Joseph Benjamin indicated.<\/p>\n The CEO of Sparrow Productions, Shirley Frimpong-Manso indicated that she is a \u201cfun of great dialogue, hence I did well\u00a0to write something that will excite and keep Ghanaians engaged during the movie\u201d.<\/p>\n She further intimated that shooting Rebecca was the most challenging movie she has done.
