They have since qualified for next season&#8217;s Barclays Premier League.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike you said [Jeffery] Schlupp has been invited just once but I have been monitoring him even during the Nations Cup,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe went to Manchester United [on trials] but he was moved into attack and I thought to myself I didn\u2019t need any strikers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut he was moved back to left-back when he returned to Leicester and as you all know Leicester have qualified to the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have been monitoring him [Schlupp] since December and I have been looking for a competent left-back so I want to closely assess him and see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The team will camp in the Netherlands and the USA before heading to Brazil.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jeffery Schlupp is the answer to Ghana&#8217;s long-standing problem, according to Kwesi Appiah.
