{"id":179657,"date":"2016-01-07T06:47:02","date_gmt":"2016-01-07T06:47:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=179657"},"modified":"2016-01-07T06:47:02","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T06:47:02","slug":"village-capital-to-offer-100k-in-young-african-entrepreneurs-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=179657","title":{"rendered":"Village Capital to offer $100k in young African entrepreneurs program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Village Capital, in partnership with Creativity Group, is set to hold its second hardware accelerator program in Ghana with US$100,000 up for grabs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The accelerator program seeks to provide cutting-edge training for 10 early stage hardware inventors in areas of agriculture and energy to help improve access to energy, and increase agricultural productivity for small-holder farmers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The program brings\u00a0together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and stakeholders side-by-side, to discuss and find solutions to challenges faced by under-served communities in Africa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Village Capital is a Non-Governmental Organization that sources, trains and invests in seed-stage entrepreneurs with business solutions to major global problems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ef13579a-6099-473c-b861-920216c1bdd3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-179660 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ef13579a-6099-473c-b861-920216c1bdd3.jpg\" alt=\"ef13579a-6099-473c-b861-920216c1bdd3\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Africa 2015-16 accelerator program with support from a group of young Ghanaian entrepreneurs [Creativity Group] would be held in Accra from 6th January to 9th January 2016.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participating entrepreneurs will receive feedbacks from peers, potential customers and experts during the program.
