The Electoral Commission has denied media reports suggesting that the Commission will spend some 900 million dollars to compile a new voters\u2019 register.<\/p>\n

Policy Think Tank IMANI Ghana had written to the EC demanding clarification on how the Commission arrived at the reported figure of $900 miilion.<\/p>\n
The Executive Director of Imani Mr Cudjoe said in that letter; \u201cI am very sure every Ghanaian including me, will like to know how you arrived at what looks like an outrageous figure of $900m were the Commission to compile a new voter register.\u201d<\/p>\n
But the EC in a statement signed by its acting Director of Public Affairs, Christian Owusu Parry described his claims as erroneous and baseless.<\/p>\n
