It is being celebrated on the theme, \u201cPromoting the Ghanaian culture and identity through carnivals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG-20151211-WA0004.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-173773\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG-20151211-WA0004.jpg\" alt=\"IMG-20151211-WA0004\" width=\"598\" height=\"449\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG-20151211-WA0004.jpg 1600w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG-20151211-WA0004-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG-20151211-WA0004-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Ministry further seeks to use the event as an incubator for creative industries, skills development and providing individuals with creative opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of people including students, workers unions and staff of the ministry gathered at the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Friday morning and marched through the Osu oxford streets to the independence square. Participants were drawn from all ten regions of the country. They represented their regions amidst singing, drumming and dancing and also rich cultural costume.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG-20151211-WA0005.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-173774\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG-20151211-WA0005.jpg\" alt=\"IMG-20151211-WA0005\" width=\"572\" height=\"763\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG-20151211-WA0005.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG-20151211-WA0005-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG-20151211-WA0005-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 572px) 100vw, 572px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Citi News, a member of the national planning committee Caleb Coffie said the initiative hopes to market the Ghanaian culture to the rest of the world to attract investors into the country. It is an annual festival which will draw more patrons to the tourism industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a message to the global world to see we have a congenial environment where they can come and invest and work.
