A medium size tomato tin is being sold for 10 cedis 10 pesewas.<\/p>\n
Maize followed with a 5 percent drop to close the week at 3 cedis 80 pesewas per olunka. Local rice also followed with a percentage loss to close the week at 7cedis 60 pesewas per olunka.<\/p>\n
Figures released by Esoko Ghana however revealed that yam, Soya bean, Cassava and groundnut all made gains during the second week in December.<\/p>\n
Prices of tomatoes also dropped between 10 and 44 percent in the Kumasi, Techiman, Takoradi and Dambai markets.<\/p>\n
The commodity however gained 9 percent in Tamale; to close the week at GHC 7 cedis 20pesewas.<\/p>\n
