The Ghana Football Association has held held a 5-day FIFA Grassroots Coaching course at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.<\/p>\n
The course which was held between November 2-6 saw upcoming coaches from across go through
\na basic coaching programme.<\/p>\n
At the closing ceremony which was held on Friday November 6, GFA Executive Committee member Mr. George Afriyie congratulated the participants for a successfully going through the course.<\/p>\n
He reiterated the GFA’s commitment to developing football from the grassroot level and to support the proper training of young footballers.<\/p>\n
“We believe that in football the foundation is very key to the success of the game in Ghana”.<\/p>\n
” This is why we need to pay more attention to grassroot development in across the country”.<\/p>\n
By giving training to coaches who handle football at the grassroot level it will ensure that the talents of these young kids are well developed”, Mr. Afriyie stated at the closing ceremony held on Friday.
