{"id":160509,"date":"2015-10-17T08:27:44","date_gmt":"2015-10-17T08:27:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=160509"},"modified":"2015-10-17T08:31:29","modified_gmt":"2015-10-17T08:31:29","slug":"press-corps-accident-citi-fm-reporter-leaves-hospitalphotos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=160509","title":{"rendered":"Press corps accident: Citi FM reporter leaves hospital[Photos]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Citi FM\u2019s Western Regional Correspondent; Obrempong Yaw Ampofo, has been discharged from the Kwesimintsim Polyclinic in Takoradi, days after the Western Regional press corps suffered an accident.<\/p>\n<p>Obrempong Ampofo and other journalists were involved in the <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/10\/12\/wregion-press-corps-in-accident-citi-fm-reporter-unconscious\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>accident<\/strong> <\/a><\/span>on Monday\u00a0after they had covered President John Mahama\u2019s commissioning of a new community day Senior High School at Bamiankor in the Ahanta West District.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Obrempong-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-160512 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Obrempong-3.jpg\" alt=\"Obrempong 3\" width=\"586\" height=\"392\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Obrempong-3.jpg 586w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Obrempong-3-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 586px) 100vw, 586px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;Ff876cJyAOpkQEm20K2DSyWvlIdSkovd&#8221;] The accident, which occurred between Beahu and Akowen communities, recorded no fatalities but Obrempong was left unconscious for a few hours.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to citifmonline.com after he was discharged on Friday, Obrempong said \u201cI am feeling well and the pains I experienced some days back are all gone. I can twist my neck left to right but a bit painful from the back when I stretch my neck. Generally, the bodily pains especially my chest area are no more. I have been given a week to report for a routine checkup.
